Account & Data Deletion

How to request deletion of your PocketProxy account and data

This page explains how to request deletion of your PocketProxy account and the personal data associated with it. PocketProxy (operated by PocketProxy) provides the website at pocketproxy.io and the PocketProxy Android application. These instructions apply to both.

How to request deletion

You can request deletion of your account and data in either of the following ways:

  1. Email request (recommended): Send an email from the address associated with your account to [email protected] with the subject line “Delete my account”. We will verify your identity and permanently delete your account and associated personal data within 30 days.
  2. Remove individual devices: Sign in at pocketproxy.io, open the device list, and choose Delete on any device to remove that device and its connection data. To delete your entire account, use the email request above.

Data that is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

  • Your account information (email address and hashed password)
  • Paired device identifiers, device names, and connection assignments
  • Connection metadata (IP addresses, carrier information, connection status)
  • Bandwidth and usage statistics tied to your account

Data that is retained

We may retain a limited set of records where required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or tax purposes — for example, billing and transaction records. These are kept only as long as the law requires and are not used for any other purpose. Operational usage logs and bandwidth statistics that are not deleted on request are automatically purged within 90 days. PocketProxy does not inspect, log, or store the content of traffic routed through proxy connections.
