Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 18, 2026

Sunny Vision Investments LLC, doing business as PocketProxy (“PocketProxy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operates the PocketProxy platform, including the website at pocketproxy.io, the PocketProxy Android application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (hashed). If you are a customer account created by an operator, your operator provides your account details. When you sign up we also ask for your date of birth, to confirm you're old enough to open an account. We check it once and don't store it: we keep only the fact that the check passed, and when.

Device Information

When you pair an Android device with PocketProxy, we collect a device identifier, device name, and connection metadata (IP address, carrier information, connection status). This information is necessary to operate the proxy service.

Usage Data

We collect bandwidth usage statistics, connection timestamps, and proxy session metadata to provide service monitoring, billing, and support. We do not inspect, log, or store the content of traffic routed through proxy connections.

Payment Information

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors: Stripe for cards and NOWPayments for cryptocurrency. We don't store your credit card number or full payment details. We retain only transaction identifiers and billing records.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • To authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • To process payments and manage billing
  • To monitor service health, uptime, and bandwidth usage
  • To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, abuse, or fraud
  • To comply with legal obligations

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • With operators: If you are an end customer, your operator (the business that manages devices and proxy access) can view your account details, connection assignments, and usage data.
  • Service providers: We share data with third-party services that help us operate (e.g., payment processors, hosting providers) under contractual obligations to protect your data.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Usage logs and bandwidth statistics are retained for up to 90 days for operational purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at [email protected].

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. No Traffic Logging

PocketProxy does not inspect, log, monitor, or store the content of network traffic routed through proxy connections. We collect only connection metadata (timestamps, bandwidth counters, IP addresses) necessary to operate and bill for the Service.

7. Device Sharing and Remote Access

You can share a device you own with another account and choose that account's permissions. Where you grant the Remote Control permission, that account can view and operate the physical device itself, including its screen and anything visible on it. This is access you grant directly to another person — it is not a disclosure by PocketProxy, and it is off unless you deliberately enable it.

Because the device may hold personal data belonging to you or to others, you are the party responsible for deciding whether that access is lawful, including obtaining any consent required from other people who use the device or whose data is on it. Where data protection law applies, you act as the controller of that data and PocketProxy acts only as a processor of the connection that carries the session.

Consistent with section 6, we do not record, view or store the contents of a remote session — we do not capture the screen, keystrokes or anything displayed. For each device linked for remote access we store only which device it is, the relay it connects through, when the link was authorised, and when it was last active. You can revoke the permission at any time from the device's sharing settings, which ends future access immediately.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies and session tokens to authenticate your login and keep you signed in. When you sign up, we record which page brought you to the site (for example a search engine or a link from another website) in your browser's local storage, and pass it through a short-lived cookie during Google sign-in, so we know how you found us. This is stored against your account and isn't shared with anyone. We measure site traffic with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify individual visitors. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data
  • Data portability

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

Every product or marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link, and one click stops them. Emails about your account, billing and devices aren't marketing, so they keep coming while you have an account.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete it. We ask for a date of birth at signup and don't create an account for anyone under 18.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
