How TikTok links your accounts
TikTok's enforcement rarely bans one account, it bans a cluster. The moment two accounts look like the same operator, a strike on one endangers all of them. The linking signals, in order of how cheaply TikTok can read them:
- IP address: accounts logging in from the same IP are linked immediately; it’s the cheapest signal TikTok has
- Device fingerprint: hardware model, OS, screen, fonts, and dozens of browser/app characteristics
- Behavior patterns: identical posting times, the same content re-uploaded, synchronized follows or likes
- Account history: a new account created right after a ban, on the same network, inherits suspicion
Why mobile IPs are the right foundation
The IP is the first signal to fix because it's the one TikTok trusts least when it's wrong and most when it's right. A mobile carrier IP is what TikTok's own audience uses, the app was built for phones on cellular networks. And because thousands of real subscribers share every mobile IP, TikTok can't afford to hard-ban them. Give each account its own dedicated mobile proxy and the cheapest linking signal disappears entirely, no strangers on your IP, no overlap between your accounts.
Keep the pairing stable: one account, one proxy, for the life of the account. TikTok expects a person to live somewhere. An account that changes networks daily looks exactly like what it is.

- Keep account details separate: different emails, recovery numbers, and creation dates

How many TikTok accounts can I run from one IP?
Treat the safe answer as one. TikTok tolerates a couple of personal accounts on a home IP (families share networks), but accounts doing marketing or automation from a shared IP get linked, and one ban cascades to the rest. One dedicated mobile IP per working account is the standard that holds up.
Why mobile proxies specifically and not residential?
TikTok is a mobile-first platform, traffic from mobile carrier IPs is its normal. Mobile IPs also sit behind carrier-grade NAT, shared by thousands of real users, so TikTok can’t hard-ban them without collateral damage. A residential IP is decent, but it maps to one household and can be individually flagged.
Do I need an antidetect browser for TikTok?
For web-based management at scale, yes, the proxy handles your network identity while the antidetect profile handles the device fingerprint. If you run accounts through real phones or emulators instead, the same principle applies: one device identity plus one mobile IP per account.
My account got shadowbanned even on a clean proxy. Why?
IPs are only one of TikTok’s signals. Shadowbans usually come from behavior (posting too fast on a fresh account, reused content, mass-following) or from device fingerprint reuse. A clean IP can’t compensate for a burned fingerprint or bot-like activity patterns.
